Debie Monax loved math - it’s consistency and predicability. In math all one had to do was follow the proper process and apply appropriate principals to produce a guaranteed result. She applied the same mindset to her life, believing that if she understood the rules and applied the proper principals to all her decisions, she would have the life she dreamed of.
Established in a successful career as a CPA and engaged to a wonderful man, she was confident that she would soon have the family and the career that she desired. Debie’s belief system is shattered when she was unexpectedly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Soon after, Debie learned that advanced endometriosis likely had threatened her ability to become pregnant.
Juggling an invisible disability and enduring fertility treatments, Debie had to redefine and rewrite her faith and how she envisioned success, a perfect family, and even herself

Debie Monax graduated from the University of Colorado in 1990 with a B.S in Accounting and worked as a CPA for sixteen years, before being diagnosed with MS in 2000. Now, Debie is an author and a stay at home mom. She spends time with her family camping, hiking, enjoying nature, and loves to travel and to cook. In her spare time, Debie is a member of the Better Investing stock club, Women's Investment Team. She currently lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband, daughter Sierra and silky terrier Watson. Debie speaks to groups about her faith journey and enjoys presenting to book clubs.
