This book focuses on what it took to open up about my pain inside and to come to the light. The Roundabout Life was written to bring to light the struggle of being poor and the fight to become better, to fit in despite the beatings and emotional abuse of a man. I also share about the unfairness of it all, like having a mother who was so schizophrenic that she couldn't even speak to me and of my grandmother's death and the huge impact it had on me.

I survived it all with faith in God to push me through, God indeed came to my rescue.
