About Diane Terry (Toledo, Ohio Author)
Diane Terry always dreamed of writing children's books. She earned both her B.A. and M.A. from The University of Toledo. After spending 35 years in the classroom with 4th and 5th graders and loving every minute of teaching her students, Diane retired and found her dream still alive, so she pursued it.
She believes each person is like a treasure with talents and abilities that lay deep within and as they are discovered the excitement bubbles forth. These discoveries are often the dreams that help us fulfill our destiny.
Today Diane is a Visiting Author and goes into the elementary schools to share her books and workshops with children of all ages.
She and her husband Ron live in Genoa, OH. They have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Diane's first story came from a bedtime story she made up for her granddaughters.
