About Kristy Kurjan (Traverse City, Michigan Author)
Kristy Kurjan is based out of Traverse City, Michigan. She is an author, mother, and owner of KPO Creative LLC. She is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Running In Heels Organization, and avid volunteer with Help In Heels women’s charity. Her most recent book, Nap-A-Roo, has received national awards including the 2015 Silver IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Picture Book (0-3), the 2014 Silver Moonbeam Award for Best Board Book, and was named a finalist in the 9th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards. In an effort to share the joys of her work, Kurjan has participated in various morning news shows, radio, pod casts, blogs, and print interviews. She is always up for a new adventure and enjoys meeting interesting people. Mother to three beautiful children, the fun never stops. She enjoys running, boating, traveling, and reading to her family.
