Valerie Nifora is an author and a poet. Born and raised in Suffolk County, New York to Greek immigrant parents, Valerie spent over 20 years, as Marketing Communications Leader for IBM. She has used her gift as a storyteller to create award-winning campaigns and ghostwrite for several executives.

Her first book, I Asked the Wind: A Collection of Romantic Poetry explores innocence, sensuality, passion, desire, heartbreak, and loss through the lens of her personal experience spanning 15 years.
