Detecting the Fatal Connection
Detecting the Fatal Connection is a mystery revolving around private eye Matt Malone and the Delight Bottling Company. The story is set in the late 1990's. The protagonist, Matt, lives in the Foley apartment not far from the Guthrie Theater with Gracie, his mutt, he purchased from the Hennepin Humane Society.
Private Investigator Matt Malone's premonition level goes on high alert after reading an article in the Star Tribune pertaining to China. So, when Matt accepts an undercover job for Delight Bottling Company, he wonders if on of the plants he'll be inspecting is in China. Being told "No" he soon discovers there's something sinister going on at the bottling plants in the United States and employees born in China are involved. Can Matt detect what's up before Delight Bottling Company comes crashing down around the owner, Neil Welch?
