Beezley, with her unusual, glowing yellow stripes, is willing to do just about anything to get rid of them. Her stripes are so bright they keep the other bees in the hive awake at night, so she has to live all by herself in a tree.
Then, one day, when danger strikes, something amazing happens to Beezley, and she discovers that maybe those stripes are not so bad after all.
About Kathy Smart (South Bend, Indiana Author)
I reside in northern Indiana, where my time is divided between working full time in a large summer camp program for children, and part time on creative writing projects.
As a running enthusiast, my writing is often inspired by the many interesting sites I see along the way. There is nothing like mile after mile of a beautiful country road to spark the curiosity of a writer.
My books are written around life lessons that send a positive message for children. I believe that every child has a gift to offer the world, and putting a book in the hands of a child will help develop that creativity.
I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
