About Barbara Tricarico (Ashland, Oregon Author)

Barbara Tricarico

Barbara Tricarico is the author of two coffee table photography books that feature the works of over 30 local photographers: "Ashland, Oregon" and "Ashland, Oregon Day Trips." She is co-author of "Quilts of Virginia: 1607-1899" by the Virginia Consortium of Quilters and is currently compiling a series of books on "Oregon" for Schiffer Publishing.

Barbara received a BA degree in English from George Mason University and an MA degree from Gallaudet University. A former English teacher, she delighted in adding Shakespearean quotes to her "Ashland, Oregon" book, colorful descriptions to her "Day Trips" book, and historical facts to "Quilts of Virginia." A friend once told Barbara that photographs are never taken--they're given. She feels her books are gifts to everyone who opens their covers.
